Junior Software Developer

Contour Software, a fast-growing subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join its Lahore resource center. The successful candidate will work with Harris Recording Solutions, a division dedicated to automating document recording for over 66,500 customers. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the R&D team to analyze and implement product enhancements. Manage development timelines effectively and provide accurate time estimates. Investigate and resolve product stability issues reported by clients. Develop high-quality, reusable code aligned with functional and technical specifications in partnership with Business Analysts. Support the release process by coordinating with the Quality Assurance team. Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are fulfilled. Participate actively in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions. Provide technical assistance to Professional Services and Support teams when required.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles. At least one year of development experience with .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery. Proficiency in SQL Server or Oracle, including writing queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Self-driven with strong work ethics and the ability to work independently. Excellent coding skills with adherence to best practices. Strong communication skills and a passion for technology.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with software design patterns such as Factory, Dependency Injection, Repository, and Singleton is advantageous. Experience with NHibernate or other Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools is preferred. Knowledge of front-end technologies including Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5, responsive web design, and JSON is a plus. Exposure to Agile methodologies or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes is beneficial. Experience using JIRA or similar project management tools is desirable. Working knowledge of modern web frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue will be considered an asset. Experience with Infragistics and Atalasoft controls is a bonus. Cloud development experience is also valued.
