ABAPER

K-Electric is searching for an experienced ABAPER who will be an integral part of our development team. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP programming, Fiori development, and HANA implementation. This role involves working collaboratively with a small team, consisting of one other member, to create effective solutions that enhance our applications and streamline our processes. The ABAPER will need to showcase their expertise in various tools and frameworks, including Smart Forms, BAPIs, User Exits, the Enhancement Framework, and Object-Oriented ABAP. The ideal candidate should be proficient in integrating Adobe Forms and be comfortable utilizing the ABAP Development Workbench to deliver high-quality code that meets our operational standards.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP programs tailored to meet business requirements.
Implement FIORI applications by utilizing best practices and guidelines for a seamless user experience.
Create and manage Smart Forms, ensuring they are robust and efficiently meet reporting needs.
Utilize BAPIs to facilitate data integration and application interface processes.
Leverage User Exits and the Enhancement Framework to customize standard SAP applications.
Engage in Object-Oriented ABAP programming to develop scalable and reusable code components.
Integrate Adobe Forms to enhance the print layout of documents and optimize user interfaces.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and enhance solutions.
Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of software development and ensure quality.
Troubleshoot existing applications and fix bugs in a timely manner to minimize system downtime.
Mentor and support the junior team member to foster professional development and enhance team performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in ABAP and FIORI technologies.
Document technical specifications and user manuals for developed applications to ensure ease of use and maintenance.
Participate in design sessions and provide input on architecture decisions to improve system performance and efficiency.
