We are seeking an Administrative Staff for the Gender-Based Violence Survivors Support Project (the Project) in Lahore.

The Project is an international project funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The Project aims at strengthening the provincial mechanisms for effective and survivor-centered service delivery for the protection, rehabilitation and economic empowerment of Gender-Based Violence survivors. 

The details are as follows:

1. Period

  • From 15 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 
  • (Tentative, Initial Contract)
  • *The initial 2 months will be a probational period.

2. Working hour

  • 9:00 -17:00 from Monday to Friday (to be confirmed)
  • (Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays and National holidays of Pakistan)

3. Assignment

  • Accounting work including payment and banking work for the Project activities mainly in Lahore. The administrator will perform accounting work according to the rules prescribed by JICA and the Project team.
  • Coordinating accounting work with the field coordinators of 4 districts. The administrator will assist field coordinators with their filed activities.
  • Procurement of equipment and services required for the Project activities mainly in Lahore as well as pilot districts as per the necessity.
  • Keeping necessary records of equipment and consumables
  • Logistic arrangements including vehicle, security personnel, accommodation, and air tickets for the Project team required for the Project activities
  • Coordination and logistic arrangement, including meeting appointments, preparation of meetings, workshops, drafting letters and so on.
  • Keep updating security information in and around the project sites to share among the Project team members
  • Maintain equipment, materials, offices, and documents in good order
  • Interpretation and translation of local language into English and vice versa
  • Keeping good communication with the Project team in the pilot districts for coordination
  • Any other tasks the Employer considers necessary for the Project implementation

4. Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in international project implementation and coordination including accounting and logistic works
  • Sound ability in writing and drafting reports
  • Ability to manage accounting and logistic work
  • Having good skills in MS office including Excel and word as well as e-mail and internet
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage and organize work independently and as a team member
  • Fluency in English and Urdu, both speaking and writing is required.
