Job Summary:
Kaizen’s Backend Software Engineer will help us develop new web and application solutions, and enhance existing ones. The individual will have the opportunity to work in a team empowering the DevOps spirit, operating at every stage of the Software Development Lifecycle and working on solutions within the AWS cloud. The Kaizen team has a calm, professional approach to development. Technical issues are discussed openly, no corners are cut and the best engineering solutions are adopted from the outset. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain reliable, scalable, and flexible web platforms and applications that are well tested and delivered on time
- Support and be an integral member of the Development team
- Work with the product teams to ensure that the solutions being worked on are by their requirements
- Identify areas of improvement and automation
- Write clean, robust and efficient code
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Skills:
- Advanced C# programming
- Dot Net Core
- EF Core
- ASP.NET Core
- Strong problem solving skills, algorithm design and understanding of data structures
- Good understanding of Software development lifecycle best practices
- Good understanding of TDD
- Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language depending on the audience, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Git
Experience:
- 5 years of working in C# software development
- Experience with a cloud service provider, ideally AWS
- Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
