Architectural Designer

The Architectural Designer is responsible for designing buildings to create unique and well-organized structures. Their duties include meeting with clients to discuss their vision, drawing up building plans & modifying their designs throughout the building process to maximize structural integrity.

Job Description:

Developing initial estimates on structure costs, building time, and special requirements.
Preparing detailed drawings showing both the appearance and interior structure of a building project.
Preparing work contracts for building subcontractors.
Visiting sites to ensure the construction of buildings according to the plans.
Developing and giving a presentation to inform the public about upcoming public projects.
Understanding of building systems, construction materials/methods/techniques for new and existing structures.
3-D modeling service in sketch-up or other formats that accurately and clearly depict the architectural design.
Preparing architectural reports and progress narratives.
Assist with architectural tasks for project in construction.
Support the other related departments.
Stay connected with related departments.
