We are looking for skilled and knowledgeable Taxation Expert to strengthen our finance team in Islamabad. The ideal candidates must have a deep understanding of local tax laws, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage the company’s tax compliance and planning effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, etc.).
- Ensure full compliance with FBR and provincial tax authorities’ regulations.
- Manage tax notices, audits, and correspondence with tax departments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws, amendments, and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning, exemptions, and financial implications.
- Review and verify vendor tax compliance (NTNs, STRNs, etc.).
- Assist internal departments with tax-related queries and documentation.
- Analyze and mitigate tax risks while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare reconciliations and reports for internal and external audits.
