Laravel Developer

Infinitum Media™ is looking for a skilled Laravel Developer to join their team based in Lahore, Karachi, or Islamabad. As a full-stack sales and support solutions company headquartered in Spokane, Washington, Infinitum Media™ connects talented IT professionals from Pakistan with clients across North America, the UK, and Europe. This role offers the opportunity to build robust, scalable web applications for an international clientele, contributing to innovative sales and support platforms. The position supports both onsite and remote work arrangements, providing flexibility while engaging in meaningful and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain back-end web applications and APIs using PHP and the Laravel framework. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code following Laravel best practices and coding standards. Work extensively with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design, writing complex queries, and optimizing performance using Eloquent ORM. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth communication between services and front-end applications. Implement strong authentication, authorization, and security features within applications. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Laravel applications to improve performance and resolve issues. Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions. Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high code quality and promote team knowledge sharing. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the Laravel ecosystem and the broader PHP community.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience as a Laravel Developer with a strong portfolio demonstrating web application projects. Expert proficiency in PHP and extensive hands-on experience with the Laravel framework. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Proficiency in working with MySQL or other relational databases, including database design and query optimization. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and preferably a modern JavaScript framework like Vue.js, React, or Angular. Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git. Understanding of unit testing (e.g., PHPUnit) and integration testing within Laravel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
The salary for this role ranges from PKR 150,000 to PKR 500,000 per month, depending on experience and expertise.
