Join Experian as a Senior Java Developer and contribute to designing and developing scalable, high-quality full-stack software solutions using Java and Spring Boot. In this role, you will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and ongoing monitoring. You will have the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Reporting to a Director, you will work closely with Product Owners and Architects to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
- Lead and participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, deployment, and monitoring.
- Mentor and guide engineering team members to promote technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Inspire and motivate the team to enhance skills and contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the technology stack.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to capture requirements, define technical solutions, and identify dependencies.
- Develop automated tests to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback and enforcing coding standards and architectural guidelines.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their relevance and potential impact on products and teams.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Java Developer, with strong expertise in Java 11 or later.
- At least 5 years’ experience building cloud-native applications using Spring Boot and Docker.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, engineering best practices, design patterns, and unit testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk or Datadog is a plus.
- Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring REST, and Spring Security.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles.
- Proficient in relational database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks such as JUnit, TDD, Cucumber, Wiremock, and JMeter. Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like ReactJS or Angular is advantageous.
