Full Stack / WordPress Developer

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack WordPress Developer with a robust background in both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a strong foundation in WordPress ecosystem—capable of developing custom themes, plugins, and seamless integrations with modern payment gateways and REST APIs. You will work closely with our design team to ensure design integration accuracy and deliver top-notch user experiences across all devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development:
- Customize and develop WordPress themes using hooks and filters.
- Build and integrate plugins tailored to specific project needs.
- Enhance and maintain existing WordPress sites, ensuring scalability and security.
Front-End Development:
- Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Integrate React.js components where necessary to enhance interactive experiences.
- Solve cross-browser rendering issues across desktop (Chrome, Safari, Edge) and mobile (iOS, Android) platforms.
Back-End Development:
- Write clean, well-organized, and reusable PHP code.
- Optimize and manage MySQL databases in a WordPress environment.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs to connect various application components.
E-Commerce Integration:
- Implement and customize WooCommerce solutions.
- Integrate payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.
Collaboration & Code Quality:
- Work closely with designers to ensure design integration accuracy and perform design QA.
- Utilize code versioning tools like Git to maintain code integrity and collaboration.
- Employ debugging tools (e.g., Chrome Inspector) to troubleshoot and optimize code performance.
- Stay current with best practices, emerging trends, and tools in web development and the WordPress ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:
- Expert in WordPress, including theme customization, hooks, and filters.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and Bootstrap.
- Proficient in back-end development with PHP and MySQL.
- Experience in React.js development.
- Solid understanding of the DOM structure and modern web development practices.
E-Commerce & API Integration:
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce.
- Proven ability to integrate various payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.).
- Experience with developing and consuming REST APIs.
Tools & Best Practices:
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git) and debugging tools (Chrome Inspector).
- Experience with module bundler systems and related web tooling concepts.
- Ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, especially with cross-browser and performance issues.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous learning.
