Senior MERN Stack Developer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our team onsite and lead the development of our new mobile app. This is a full-time, in-house position that requires expertise in building scalable, high-performance applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React Native, and Node.js. You will be responsible for both backend and frontend development, API integrations, and deployment.

Responsibilities: MVP Development

Backend Setup

Develop a robust backend using Node.js and MongoDB.
Implement user authentication (phone/email verification).
Create API endpoints for key features: user management, listing management, messaging, and search.

Frontend Development

Develop the mobile app using React Native (for both Android & iOS).
Implement core app functionalities:
User Registration & Login (with verification).
Listing Creation & Management (with geofencing).
Marketplace Browsing (filters and categories).
Direct Messaging (real-time chat).

Integrations

Implement Wallet integration with Stripe (for escrow payments).
Set up Push Notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Integrate Geofencing with Google Maps API.
Enable Live Video Streaming using Agora SDK.

Phase 3: Testing & Launch Preparations

Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
Ensure compatibility across devices and platforms.
Deploy the Beta version on AWS for the backend and submit the app to the App Store & Play Store.
Prepare documentation and investor guidelines.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React Native, Node.js).
Strong expertise in React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
Experience with API development, authentication methods, and third-party integrations.
Proficiency in AWS deployment and cloud services.
Prior experience with Stripe, Firebase, Google Maps API, and Agora SDK is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
