The CSR will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing corporate social responsibility initiatives. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our CSR programs align with our business goals, values, and mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, community engagement, and ethical business practices, with a proven track record of driving impactful CSR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive CSR strategy that aligns with the company’s mission, values, and business objectives.

    • Identify key areas of focus for CSR initiatives, including environmental sustainability, community engagement, ethical sourcing, and employee well-being.

  2. Program Management:

    • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of CSR programs and initiatives.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CSR principles into business operations and decision-making processes.

    • Monitor and report on the progress and impact of CSR initiatives, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.

  3. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, NGOs, and community organizations.

    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums related to CSR and sustainability.

    • Communicate the company’s CSR efforts and achievements to stakeholders through various channels, including reports, presentations, and social media.

  4. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to CSR and sustainability.

    • Prepare and submit CSR reports, including sustainability reports, in accordance with global standards such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD.

    • Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the field of CSR and sustainability.

  5. Employee Engagement:

    • Foster a culture of social responsibility and sustainability within the organization.

    • Develop and implement employee engagement programs that encourage participation in CSR initiatives.

    • Provide training and resources to employees to enhance their understanding of CSR principles and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of CSR principles, sustainability frameworks, and reporting standards.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate strategy into actionable plans.

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
