Lucky Cement Limited is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager, Internal Audit to join our Karachi team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of audit programs, participate in audit kick off meetings, in planning the audit schedule, and develop individual audit steps of the assignment.
Perform assigned audits or segment of audit under the direction of Assistant Manager Internal Audit.
Review units operations to assess effectiveness of accounting and managerial controls, accuracy of recorded data and safeguard / existence of assets.
Provide direct supervision while undertaking physical verification of inventories and fixed assets.
Inspect and analyze books, records, ledgers, journals, income tax reports, and other pertinent information during course of audit review.
Plan and conduct thoroughly audits of books, records, activities and transactions; and to develop process flows of all areas / segments under review.
Assist in determining whether areas reviewed are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, and control activities in compliance with applicable policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with both organizations objectives and best practice.
Provide assistance in obtaining and analyzing data to give an objective and informed opinion on the accuracy and fairness of financial information.
Perform post-audit reviews to determine the extent to which audit recommendations have been implemented.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein, and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
