Laser Technician (Hair Removal)

The Laser Technician for Laser Hair Clinic will be responsible for providing safe and effective laser hair removal treatments to clients. The technician will use a variety of laser equipment and techniques to perform hair removal procedures. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform laser hair removal procedures using various laser equipment and techniques.
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their hair removal needs and medical history.
Explain the laser hair removal process and answer any questions clients may have.
Prepare the treatment area and ensure that clients are comfortable during the procedure.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with laser hair removal.
Monitor clients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate post-treatment care instructions.
Maintain accurate client records and treatment logs.
Ensure that all laser equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Order supplies and maintain inventory of laser hair removal products and equipment.
Stay up-to-date with new laser technology and techniques.
Attend training and education programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a laser technician training program or equivalent work experience.
Certification by a recognized laser hair removal organization.
Knowledge of laser physics and safety principles.
Understanding of skin types and how they respond to laser treatments.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Strong attention to detail.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy equipment.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Reporting:

The Laser Technician for Laser Hair Clinic will report to the Clinic Manager or Director.
