Manager Quality Control

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all activities related to manufacturing quality, with a particular emphasis on understanding and implementing product quality requirements for individual clients and projects. The role ensures that manufactured items meet contract specifications by closely monitoring quality throughout the production process. It involves working collaboratively with multiple departments to maintain high standards and support timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections on the production floor to detect any quality issues, including discrepancies with spare parts or incorrect items received from inventory. Make prompt decisions in consultation with the relevant Department Head and obtain approval from directors or the Chief Executive when concessions are required.
- Ensure that no product advances to the finished goods store or the next production stage until all quality-related activities and documented procedures have been thoroughly completed and verified.
- Continuously review and enhance quality control processes, procedures, and capabilities to maintain cost-effective and efficient methods for meeting quality standards. Provide recommendations for improvements as necessary.
- Review client quality control (QC) requirements and verify that all QC documentation for projects complies with contractual obligations.
- Evaluate and approve quality control documentation submitted by contractors and sub-contractors to ensure their planned activities align with contract requirements.
- Contribute to business development and project success by sharing relevant information and insights internally, including project-specific details.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive communication to foster effective collaboration across teams.
- Work closely with the Head of Manufacturing to ensure that project contractual and quality requirements are upheld throughout all manufacturing stages, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and image in all work-related activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
- Proven experience in the Electronics or Electrical Manufacturing industry.
- Substantial experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance roles.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position based in Gujarat. Candidates should be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate, with an employer-provided relocation package available. The salary range for this role is Rs100,000 to Rs200,000 per month. The expected start date is July 4, 2025.
