We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our transportation and logistics processes, ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to various locations based on priority and availability.
- Monitor the progress of deliveries and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time performance.
- Coordinate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and delays.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, routes, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and clients to provide real-time updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding shipment status and troubleshoot any issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of road conditions and routes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication with clients, drivers, and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Hours: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM
