Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance (Costing / Budgeting)

Maroof International Hospital is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance (Costing / Budgeting) to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting, combined with advanced proficiency in Excel and forecasting techniques. This role requires a confident individual who can collaborate seamlessly across various departments to ensure precise financial operations. The Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and providing critical insights to support the organization's fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting processes related to costing and budgeting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. By leveraging analytical skills and financial acumen, they will be tasked with creating and implementing effective budgeting strategies, conducting thorough cost analyses, and delivering insightful financial reports to senior management. This role serves as a crucial link between the finance department and other operational units, ensuring that financial practices align with the hospital's goals and objectives.

Required Qualification: Masters in Finance and Accounts/CA (Inter)/ACCA/ACMA

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the organization's budget by collaborating with various departments to collect necessary financial data and assumptions.
Conduct comprehensive cost accounting analyses to accurately allocate resources, evaluate operational efficiencies, and facilitate decision-making.
Prepare detailed financial reports and monthly analyses that highlight trends and variances, presenting findings to senior management effectively.
Implement and oversee financial forecasting activities to predict future financial performance and inform strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations by conducting regular audits and reviews of financial processes.
Identify areas for cost savings and optimization within the budgeting process, providing actionable recommendations to the management team.
Maintain and develop robust financial models that support strategic initiatives and long-term financial planning.
Engage regularly with department heads to discuss budgeting concerns, financial performance, and necessary adjustments to align with business objectives.
Support the finance team with the preparation of annual financial statements and assist in the external audit process.
