Security Operations Management:
- Assist in overseeing security personnel and ensuring they perform their duties efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of town facilities to identify potential security risks or breaches.
Incident Management:
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities when necessary.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain detailed records of all security-related activities.
Policy Implementation:
- Enforce town security policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist in developing and updating security protocols and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and safety standards.
Personnel Management:
- Supervise security staff, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and training.
- Provide guidance and support to security team members.
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new security personnel.
Community Liaison:
- Build positive relationships with town residents, businesses, and stakeholders.
- Educate the community on security measures and best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for security-related concerns within the town.
Risk Assessment:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
- Implement measures to mitigate risks and improve overall security.
Other Duties:
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Security Officer or town administration.
- Stay updated on security trends and technologies to enhance effectiveness.
