Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Estimate costs and determine resource needs.
- Coordinate the scheduling of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials.
Team Management:
- Supervise and manage construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Ensure the team follows safety protocols and quality standards.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Manage the project budget and ensure costs are kept within the allocated amount.
- Review and approve expenses and invoices.
- Monitor project expenditures and adjust plans as needed to avoid overruns.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with building codes, legal regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing according to plan.
- Oversee quality control and make sure construction meets specified standards.
Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and changes to stakeholders.
- Resolve any disputes or issues that arise during construction.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Address any safety violations or hazardous conditions.
- Respond to any delays, unforeseen challenges, or emergencies during the construction process.
Permits and Documentation:
- Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before work begins.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including contracts, timelines, budgets, and changes.
