Cleaning Duties:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in assigned areas.
- Wash windows, walls, and surfaces to remove dirt, stains, and dust.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces like door handles, railings, and counters.
- Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure proper sanitation.
Waste Management:
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste materials in compliance with local regulations.
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous or medical waste, if applicable.
- Empty and clean garbage bins regularly.
Maintenance Tasks:
- Notify supervisors of any repairs or maintenance needs, such as leaky faucets or broken fixtures.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Use cleaning chemicals responsibly and wear appropriate protective gear.
- Adhere to organizational policies and local sanitation guidelines.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies, such as spills.
- Assist in setting up or breaking down for events, if required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
