The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design, maintenance, and execution of electrical substations 110,132,500 Kv. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers, supervisors and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical substations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of substations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
- Implement improvements to enhance substation performance.
- Prepare and present technical reports.
- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of substation operations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Monitor and analyze substation performance data.
- Oversee the installation of new equipment.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Provide input on budget and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Extensive experience with electrical systems design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 5–6-year experience in Substation
