Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee and optimize manufacturing operations at our fastener manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Planned, organized, and oversaw the daily production operations to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing of fasteners.
Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation (manpower, materials, and equipment).
Monitor production KPIs (efficiency, waste, downtime, cycle time, etc.) and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry quality standards (ISO, ASTM, DIN, etc.) and customer specifications.
Collaborate with the Quality Control team to minimize defects and improve product consistency.
Supervise and train production staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
Oversee maintenance activities to ensure machinery and equipment operate at peak performance with minimal downtime.
Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other efficiency-driven methodologies.
Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees.
Manage production costs, optimize resource utilization, and contribute to cost reduction strategies.
Work closely with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to improve workflow and material availability.
Troubleshoot production challenges and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and present production reports to senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
