Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering and operations team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud Services, and monitoring and alerting solutions, along with a solid foundation in infrastructure automation, security, and AI service integrations.You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the deployment pipelines, infrastructure, observability stack, and secure integrations with enterprise tools like Azure AI, Slack, Teams, and Jira.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD & Infrastructure Automation:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD.
• Automate Helm-based Kubernetes deployments with GitOps best practices.
• Manage container image versioning, tagging, and deployments through secure container registries (ACR, DockerHub).

 Cloud Platform & Azure Services:

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Manage and integrate services like Azure Functions, Azure API Gateway, Azure App Registration, Key Vault, Azure AD, Azure Storage, Redis, Azure Databases, and Cost Management.
• Integrate and operate Azure AI services, AI Search, and Document Intelligence APIs in enterprise workflows.

Kubernetes & Containerization:

• Operate, scale, and optimize Kubernetes clusters (AKS and self-managed), supporting horizontal and vertical pod autoscaling.
• Configure and manage ingress controllers, load balancers, and CDNs for scalable application delivery
• Ensure best practices in Helm chart management, namespaces, secrets, and configmaps.
• Implement secret management using External Secrets Operator with Azure Key Vault.

Observability & Monitoring:

• Deploy and configure monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Alert Manager.
• Develop and maintain Grafana dashboards, custom visualizations, and alerts for applications and infrastructure.
• Integrate alerting and notifications with Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Jira for operational visibility. 

Security & Access Management:

• Configure and manage Azure Active Directory for identity and access.
• Implement secure API access with Azure API Gateway and OAuth integrations. 
• Maintain infrastructure compliance with industry security standards and internal policies. 

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with engineering, product, and AI teams to ensure deployment readiness. 
• Use Jira, Confluence, and similar tools for documentation, planning, and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure/application issues and drive problem resolution across multiple teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE roles.
• At least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences and Soft Engineering.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services, especially AI, Functions, API Gateway, and App Registrations.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Helm with a focus on scalable, secure production deployments.
• Strong knowledge of containerization using Docker
• Monitoring expertise using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Scripting and automation experience with Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Experience with alerting integrations to Slack, Teams, and incident management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile practices, Jira, Confluence, and DevSecOps principles.
