Electrical / Mechanical Technician - Elevators / Escalators

We are seeking a skilled Elevator & Escalator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair / services of elevators, escalators, and related systems. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our clients' equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in systems.

3. Install new elevator and escalator systems in accordance with industry standards.

4. Conduct safety tests and ensure compliance with local regulations.

5. Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.

6. Maintain accurate records of service and repairs.

7. Respond promptly to emergency service calls and resolve issues efficiently.

8. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations.

Requirements:

Diploma or certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in elevator and escalator maintenance (2+ years preferred).
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, traction, and control systems.
Familiarity with industry codes and safety standards (e.g., ASME, EN).
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
Valid driving license (if travel is required).
