Node JS/ AWS Serverless

We are seeking a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development and extensive experience working with AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Node.js, Express, MongoDB, AWS Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and Terraform. A deep understanding of serverless architecture and scalable infrastructure design is essential. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services while collaborating closely with frontend teams to deliver seamless, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express. Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend logic to support scalable and efficient applications. Manage MongoDB databases, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning. Integrate and manage AWS services such as Lambda for serverless execution, SQS for asynchronous workflows, and DynamoDB for NoSQL data modeling and access. Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring reliable and repeatable deployments. Implement event-driven and serverless architecture solutions that enhance system scalability and resilience. Collaborate closely with frontend developers working with React.js to ensure smooth integration between backend and frontend components. Write unit and integration tests to uphold code quality and system reliability. Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance in production environments. Participate actively in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain best practices and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of experience in MERN stack development with a strong emphasis on backend technologies is required. Proficiency in Node.js, Express, and MongoDB is essential. Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB is necessary to effectively manage serverless and cloud-native solutions. A solid understanding of serverless architecture and best practices is critical. Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies is required to automate and manage cloud infrastructure. Proven ability to design scalable APIs and integrate third-party services is important. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices is expected. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
