We are seeking a Production Manager’s Assistant/Associate who will be responsible for quality control, team coordination, and assisting in production planning. This is a hands-on role that requires active engagement on the production floor to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Manager in daily operations and execution of production tasks
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) testing of paint batches after production
- Assist in Paint Research & Development (R&D) to improve product quality and innovation
- Assign and oversee tasks for the labor force and ensure efficient workforce management
- Manage production planning and help optimize workflow to meet targets
- Prepare and maintain paint production sheets for tracking and record-keeping
- Ensure team coordination and resolve operational challenges on the production floor
Requirements & Qualifications: Education:
- Minimum 10th grade education with basic reading and writing skills in English and Urdu
- Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Paint Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Experience:
- Mandatory: At least 1.5 years of experience working in a paint manufacturing facility’s production department
- OR Diploma in Paint Manufacturing
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of paint production processes
- Ability to conduct paint quality control (QC) tests
- Leadership skills to manage and coordinate labor efficiently
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: PKR 50,000 – 60,000 per month
- Fuel & bike repair allowance
- Meal allowance
- 2 paid leave days per month
Work Environment & Additional Details:
- Hands-on work on the production floor (not an office-based role)
- No travel required except for daily commute
