We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Zone team as a Finance Trainee. This role presents a unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in the finance domain. The incumbent will assist with the day-to-day finance related operations, functions and duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Accurately enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, including invoices and expense reports.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including filing documents and ensuring data integrity.
Assist in processing invoices, issuing payments, and following up on outstanding payments.

Budget Monitoring:

Assist in monitoring and tracking departmental budgets, ensuring expenditures are in line with approved budgets.
Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and summaries on a regular basis or as requested by management.
Help analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Assist in reviewing and verifying employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Provide support during internal and external audits by gathering requested documents.
Undertake additional financial and administrative tasks as assigned by the finance team.
