Material Planning Professional

Pak Elektron Limited is seeking a dedicated Material Planning Professional to join our team. In this role, you will take charge of planning material availability, which involves using demand forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times to ensure that our production processes run smoothly. We are looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills, as you will coordinate closely with various teams, including procurement and production, to optimize material flow and inventory management. Your expertise in tools like Microsoft Excel, Oracle ERP, and Power BI will be crucial in monitoring key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions. With 3-5 years of experience in this field, you will play a vital role in supporting our supply chain efficiency and operational excellence.
Responsibilities

Analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to plan for optimal material availability.
Utilize Oracle ERP and Power BI to monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material management.
Implement strategies to optimize inventory control, minimizing instances of stockouts while avoiding overstocking.
Collaborate with the production team to align material supply with production schedules, ensuring efficiency in operations.
Maintain effective communication with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of materials as per production needs.
Regularly review and adjust inventory metrics to proactively respond to changes in demand or supply conditions.
Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for material planning activities to enhance operational consistency.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of inventory practices, recommending improvements where necessary.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in inventory management to apply them in daily operations.
Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, material availability, and performance metrics to management.
