I am Currently working as NIS assistant(Nutrition Information System)in Medical Emergency Resilience Foundation (MERF). i also worked as MIS officer at MERLIN International ,and as HMIS at CERD with different Doner funded project in DIR, SWAT,Shangla and Peshawar.
• Smooth reporting of NIS on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Regularly update Nutrition Information Management System (NIS) Database
• Identifies & corrects errors, verify the data and present the findings of the data analysis to project team.
• Ensure smooth reporting from field offices to Head office and further sharing with all the relevant line departments UN-WFP, UNICEF, UNOCHA, Department of Health (DoH), Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Security Agencies and District Administration on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Submission of NIS Database XML report on Bi-weekly basis.
• Conduct field visits to monitor quality of data maintained by the field staff members and provide assistance to the field staff as and when required.
• Collect and regularly update 4-W Information (who does, what, where & when), Data consolidation and supply updates status on monthly basis.
• Ensure representation of the nutrition cluster in the information management meetings and coordination.
• Preparation of NIS presentation for cluster and other coordination meetings.
• Following work plans and timelines to stream line the reporting system.
• Other tasks assigned by the Supervisor and Project Manager to ensure proper coordination will all the stakeholders, implementation and share lesson learned experiences to facilitate communities acceptance.
Data analysis, Data entry:

• Ensure the cleaning of the data.
• Summarize the entered data in the form of reports as appropriate.
• Present results in appropriate graphical forms (charts, graphs etc.)
• Calculate nutrition program performance indices.
• Propose improvements on data collection tools.
• Liaise with OTP and TFC supervisors on a daily basis to obtain accurate program data.
• Check the quality of the data to be entered and inform immediate supervisor of any problems.
• Calculate the time needed for data entry and keep immediate supervisor informed of its progress on a daily basis.
• Enter the data taken from questionnaires and from all nutrition charts related to nutrition activities.
• Check the entered data.
• Compile beneficiaries’ information in accurate forms upon reception from field teams.
• Transmit the information to direct supervisor as soon as data is entered.
• File the questionnaires and computer data.
• Code the questionnaires and nutrition charts.
• Save the data entries regularly as well as the statistical results.
• Ensure regular (weekly) data backup.
• Based on the data available, develop reports as require (e.g. for partner and program).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the program manager.
• Ensure smooth reporting of country level CMAM data on specified formats (Old Excel Version of CMAM Data base + NIS) to all concerned including District, Provincial office weekly, monthly or as required basis.
• Ensure that the communication flow is maintained with provincial level MIS focal points and Data/reports collected, cleaned, compiled and analyzed before sharing with Provincial CMAM focal points.
• Ensure that the Nutrition information System (NIS) remains functional all hubs and central level.
• Submission of CMAM success stories on one response web site.
• Develop and maintain CMAM data flow from project sites (districts) to Central MIS and vice versa. (Both Old excel data base and NIS)
• Generate weekly, monthly and end of the project reports reflecting the key performance indicators as per CMAM protocols.
• Represent MERLIN Data and Performance indicators at Weekly Nutrition Cluster meetings.
• Training of newly inducted staff on NIS and excel based CMAM data base. Refresher trainings for existing staff as needed.
• Share FBF utilization reports (monthly or as required) with WFP.
• Coordinate with district hubs and Provincial or district Nutrition coordinators for defaults or unexpected deviation in trends of performance indicators.
• Respond to Data inquiries from field and concerned staff.
• To maintain regular supply all CMAM relevant Stationary, reporting formats and IT tools to the district hubs.
• To maintain an updated inventory of all CMAM relevant supplies at district level.
• To keep tract of supplies of UNIMIX/ Plumpy nuts and Medicines from donor partners and inform regional office regarding replenishment needs well in time.
• Other tasks as designated by the district or Provincial.
• Attaining appropriate knowledge of CMAM, IYCF and basic Nutrition.
• Development of standardized Databases for CMAM and IYCF to collate Program data in a regular and standardized manner based on CMAM protocols and core IYCF indicators.
• Entering project details, population targets, UC’s, Health facilities, villages ration scales
for different categories (SFP children, OTP children, SFP PLW’s).
• Entering received CMAM Foods and medicines on regular intervals (as and when
received).
• Collection of NIS/IYCF Data (through monitors, supply vehicles, messengers and others) on NIS (screening, admission, follow-ups, sessions and exit) formats.
• Timely encoding of NIS Data to the database and submission of reports (xml) to all the
concerned on daily, weekly basis and monthly basis.
• Generation of all types of NIS reports from the database and sharing with all the stack
holders (CERD Head office, WFP, UNICEF, DOH, PPHI, PDMA, security agencies, district administration and others).
• Preparation and submission of all type of reports on pre-defined formats of WFP,
UNICEF and WHO.
• Preparation and timely submission of invoices to WFP.
• Compilation of data (Import & export) as and when required.
• Prepare NIS graphical presentations of nutrition indicators.

• Worked closely with District Administration of Lower Dir and Swat to streamline the project activities in the project areas.
• Formed Community Groups in the shape of Water Management Committees in the target areas of Project to ensure the community involvement in WASH and NFIs activities.
• Organized meetings with Government officials and linked them with local communities to ensure social inclusion in project activities.
• Ensured that communities and community groups are mobilized and adequately informed regarding hygiene and health issues related to water supply, sanitation, waterborne diseases.
• Identified Water, Sanitation and Hygiene needs in the identified areas through involving communities and needs identification exercises.
