I have done my Master in International Relations from the University of Malakand, Master in Zoology (Fisheries and Entomology), from University of Peshawar,and Master in Education from Allama Iqbal Open University. Desirous to work in a ‘challenging environment’ and to diversify my skills through the leading professional organizations engaged in the socio-economic uplift of rural and semi urban areas, and mandated to serve the humanity regardless of any cultural, political, religious, geographic and ethical bias; and to support their social integration for sustainable development, mutual cooperation and improved service provision at local level.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall planning, management, implementation; and administrative, financial and operational support to the following projects:
o Restoring Subsistence and Commercial Agriculture in the NMDs of KP Project.
o Restoration of Livelihoods in the KP Tribal Districts.
o The Horticulture Advancement Activity in KP Project.
o Post Return Humanitarian Needs in North Waziristan.
· Led and supervised the projects’ teams (in the district) in the planning, implementation, logistics, HR, and other related tasks, particularly in preparing information on Value Chains, agri-based enterprises and market development issues, and provided guidance to field staff and provincial office on better understanding the local contexts.
· Assisted management by closely liaising with the district line departments of KP like Agriculture Extension, Livestock, Fisheries, Forestry, and Irrigation departments; and law enforcement agencies and District Administration for the smooth implementation of the project activities.
· Strengthened teamwork, information sharing and collaboration within the projects’ teams (district team and sectoral specialists) for improved service provision in the areas of livestock, horticulture, climate-smart agriculture (CSA) technologies, and youth and gender.
· Assumed the responsibility for managing the projects’ budgets (at district level) by ensuring that project work plans (district level) were prepared, funds disbursed in accordance with the projects’ approved documents, and overall work plans.
· Closely worked with the local growers to go beyond the ‘subsistence farming’ to ‘commercial farming’ on sustainable footing; and consistently worked for Enterprise and Value Chain development of the potential commodity chains.
· Developed periodic reports on the projects’ delivery, beneficiary analyses, interventions’ approach and impact of the assistance provided at local level.
· Assisted in the development of ‘beneficiary selection criteria’ for diverse interventions based on sound knowledge of the target areas.
· Assisted the Project and Int’l Programme Coordinator(s) in the prioritization and consolidation of community-led livelihood rehabilitation plans (CLRPs) at district level.
· Developed capacity building (training) plans for the projects’ staff, target communities and partner organizations; and documented the success stories, case studies and lessons learnt.
· Facilitated the baseline and impact studies, and assessed the immediate, mid-and long-term impact of the implemented actions for the achievements made, shortcomings observed, and suggestions framed for the improvement of programme.
Established and ensured the implementation of partnership mechanisms between the Government line departments, local NGOs, CBOs and private sector organizations
Main responsibilities:
· Supervised field staff, coordinated the implementation of projects’ activities, and prepared progress reports in a timely manner.
· Planned and facilitated jointly with the technical team, and supervised the community physical infrastructure (CPI) schemes and livelihood support interventions at district level.
· Facilitated the social and technical feasibilities, designing of the CPI schemes, and prioritization of the livelihood support interventions in partnership with the local communities, and ACC.
· Managed the Project’s human resource, and fiduciary functions at the Agency level.
· Supervised and advised on the effective Social Mobilization, COs, and Groups’ formation and clarified the processes adopted as per Bank’s approved SOPs and ToPs.
· Carried out detailed Value Chains’ market analyses, needs and gaps analyses, SWOT exercises and other rapid assessments in collaboration with field teams and project partners.
· Prepared strategic plans with well-defined milestones, for the implementation of the Project’s activities at Agency level on most efficient lines.
· Provided guidance to AIU and SMP on all technical and administrative matters relating to activities under RLCIP.
Conducted regular meetings with all the stakeholders to assess the pace of implementation, identify bottlenecks, in the light of approved plan/road map, and devised concrete and durable remedial measures to resolve those issues.
Convened the Agency Sub-Committee/ACC meetings on monthly basis to review the progress of the Project and endorse the upcoming interventions.
· Ensured timely submission of all reports on the project implementation with the support of the project experts and in close coordination with implementing agencies,
· Assisted/guided the AIU, SMP and communities in the planning and execution of CDD projects.
· Conducted trainings, awareness programmes and developed guidelines where required, with particular emphasis on community with crisis-sensitivity, and highest standards of personal integrity.
Main responsibilities:
· Coordinated and liaised with the local Political Administration, Education Department and Implementing Partner (Hayat Foundation), FDMA, and NCHD at Agency level.
· Monitored the ALP Centers for capacity building interventions of ALP Teachers in order to achieve the desired learning targets (intended changes/improvements) of the ALP students.
· Identified solutions to the issues related to livelihood of the teaching cadre and students.
· Encouraged and motivated teachers to identify and analyze their teaching requirements and suggest viable solutions (within the available resources).
· Motivated and capacitated the ALP teachers for enlisting support to the target communities in promoting the education of special children.
· Involved and empowered the community members for getting quality education in the ALP centers,
· Prepared weekly and monthly progress reports and submitted those to the senior management, Political Administration, Agency Education Department and other stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
· Coordinated and supervised the Community Mobilization teams in the targeted areas of FRDP for identifying various Livelihood support activities and community physical infrastructure schemes; and guided them on holding dialogues with them.
· Led meetings of the local influential, activists, religious leaders, social workers, political leaders, and teachers during community consultations to agree on common priority areas and actions.
· Supervised the awareness campaigns within the communities and guided all types of trainings.
· Monitored the community development activities and liaised with Govt. Line Departments on the proposed developmental activities for improved complementarity and better synergies.
· Established the community-based monitoring system and introduced operational and maintenance (O&M) programme within the targeted areas for the CPI schemes.
· Assisted the social mobilization staff in the resolution of emerging issues at local level; and prepared periodic progress reports and case studies on the effectiveness of development activities.
Main responsibilities:
· Ensured 100% enrolment of 5-7 years aged children in schools; and prevented drop out by bringing its rate below 10%.
· Ensured Quality Education through proper trainings of teachers, and conducted broad-based Community Meetings for achieving the three goals of Universal Primary Education (UPE).
· Collected, verified and analyzed data of households in the assigned areas to detect number of 5-7 years out of school children.
· Established Feeder Schools in the community in “No School Areas”; and enrolled adults of 10-39 years of age in the Basic Literacy Centers to ensure their retention in schools.
· Mobilized and ensured community contribution for schools’ infrastructure improvement.
· Prepared daily diaries, weekly work plans, and maintained villager profiles.
· Prepare monthly progress reports to the Head Office over the preceded activities.
· Identified, registered and mainstreamed volunteers in the promotion of UPE programme, and established linkages between the Education Deptt. and NCHD for increased capacities of the deptt.,
· Prepared the implementation of village education plans, and supervised the physical verification of 5-7 years enrolled able children in the assigned schools.
