Responsibilities/ Accomplishments:
Review of approved purchase requisition by store.
Analyzing the supplier as per purchase requisition for placing order.
Finalization of supplier after meeting following benchmarks; Good in quality.
Dispatch on time. Or dispatch urgently if required.
Low rates as compare to competitors.
Credit terms. Discussion with supplier on rates.
Finalization of supplier after meeting criteria.
Generate purchase order for supplier and forwarded them.
Monitor status of ordered items from supplier.
Follow-up over pending list by store.
Cancellation of purchase order if required.
Assess the received quantity is sufficient against PO and make adjustment to order if needed.
Look after the reports, records maintained by procurement executive.
Liaises with key employees regarding their demands or quality of products.
Build relationship with existing vendors and acquire new vendors.
Meeting with vendors to resolve their problems or issues with them.
