Case Management for Individual Children and their Families:
The caseworker will provide quality case management services to children who have experienced or are at risk of violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation or are otherwise vulnerable in line with the available Sindh Case Management Guidelines.
Guide children and their families through the case management process (identification and registration, assessment, case planning, implementation of the case plan, follow-up and review, and case closure) as outlined in the Case Workers Manual (part of the above guidance)
Provide psychosocial support and emotional support to children and families throughout the case management process.
Conduct safe referrals to essential services as appropriate, and follow up to ensure services provided were responsive to the needs identified within the assessment.
Community and Interagency Coordination:
Liaise with community members, service providers, NGO partners, and government stakeholders to identify and safely refer children at risk.
Maintain an up-to-date service mapping for your geographical area in collaboration
with the team.
Participate in inter-agency case conferences (presentation of cases and dissemination of challenges).
Case Management Teamwork:
Actively engage in all capacity-building opportunities, including formal training, shadowing/observation, capacity assessments, etc.
Participate in regular case management meetings with the case management team.
Prepare for and participate in regular structured individual supervision sessions, identifying challenges and areas for development.
Establish a monitoring and evaluation framework in line with the policies of the Shifa Foundation which also correspond to requirements of Shifa Foundation Sanghar district Office.
Write and develop materials and documentation to support the successful delivery of M&E trainings.
Support the District Coordinator in developing data collection tools and ensure that the validation rules are included during programming to reduce data entry errors.
Ensure that submitted data accurately reflects activities implemented in the field and that these activities align with the approved work plans for projects.
Participate in various monitoring visits (using Spot Check/Data Verification and Validation forms) to ensure that data shared from the field is true representative of the activities and that it stands true to the submitted reports.
Contribute to review and lessons learnt events across projects and field offices.
Regular compilation of field office’s progress information and generation of programme monitoring reports at country office level.
Provide technical support to the field-based teams in beneficiary assessments.
Conduct regular monitoring to the locations where programme activities are being implemented on the ground and document process and programme monitoring.
Develop program related qualitative and quantitative M&E tools and train project staff in using relevant M&E tools.
Work with District Coordinator to identify opportunities to strengthen Shifa Foundation Sanghar district Office overall monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities.
Support the Project Manager in his functions to coordinate and manage the overall quality delivery of the programme in an effective and efficient manner.
Participate and provide technical input to the monitoring objectives of the organization on the regular basis through meetings.
Social Mobilizer Child Protection
