Work with procurement managers and buyers to source the right products
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers
Sourcing of raw materials and services
Control manufacturing and delivery processes
Work forecasts and inventories, keeping and accurate record of the process and analyzing performance.
Create the companys supply chain strategy
Train and guide employees
Resolve issue that come up ( e.g delays in delivery, accidents)
Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g use the trucks, forklifts)
Ensure supply chain process meet legal requirements and standards
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable
