Deputy Manager
Pakistan as “Assistant Manager Lab” in Oct 2013. As an acknowledgment of hardworking, dedication with work and exhibition of sound analytical judgments I was promoted as “Deputy Manager” till date working on same post.
Key Contributions:
• Successfully supervised projects of development of more than one dozen auto parts, including Exhaust Manifold for Export and maintained their quality control records.
• Successfully developed a new grade of cast iron, Compacted Graphite Cast Iron.
• Successfully Locally developed Resin coated sand worth saving of 1 Million per month to company.
• Successfully develop in-house Heat treatment salts worth saving of 0.5 Million per month.
Key responsibilities:
• Scheduling and performing tests/examinations of incoming material from ferrous casting, forging and Aluminum die casting. Ensuring deadlines are met and coordinating within company & clients throughout the process.
• To assure structural analysis i.e. grain size, phase, porosity, Nodularity and bending inspection by using ASTM methods A247, BPS1004 and ASM Book Vol. 9.
• Responsible for implementing ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025 and 5S, methodology in Lab.
• Analyzing and implementing procedures as per ASTM, BS EN ISO, and ASME etc.
• To Assure Composition analysis of Gray Cast Iron, SG Iron, Aluminum, Low Alloy Steel 4140, 4340, 1045 & 12% Mn steel, ADC 12 by wet method & optical emission spectrometer (O.E.S).
• Review of Test procedures and Material specifications for clients requirements.
• Mechanical evaluations including destructive testing and NDT through DPT & UT.
• Supervision of Heat Treatment section; where different heat treatment techniques are used for surface treatment of sheet metal, steel & iron according to their time & temperature cycles and requirement e.g. annealing, normalizing, tempering, carburizing ,Nitriding and hardening .
• Supervision of Electro Copper plating plant.
