-Currently working in Planning & Development Department.
My responsibilities included:
• Completed Comprehensive training on Introduction to Company, P&D Department, Company`s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
• Assisting senior engineers in planning, designing, and implementing strategies for compressor station development and optimization.
• Assisting in monitoring progress of ongoing projects and taking necessary actions for meeting project timeline.
• Participating in the analysis of technical data related to compressor operations, including pressure, temperature, flow rates, and efficiency.
• Assisting in preparation of technical specifications for tender documents.
• Assisting in carrying out technical evaluation of bids pertaining to their relevant section within P&D Department and ensuring timely submission.
• Assisting in the implementation of capital projects and upgrades related to compressor stations, including procurement support, contractor coordination, and project documentation.
• Actively participating in training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance technical knowledge, develop new skills, and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

• Operated 110 TPD Air Separation Plant with major Equipment Multi-Stage Centrifugal Compressors (Ingersoll rand, Atlas Copco), Molecular Sieve Adsorbers, Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger, Cryogenic pumps, Expansion turbines, Packed distillation column, Cooling Tower.

• Acquired Hands-on experience on DCS Operating System.
• Assisted Senior Engineer during plant normal start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling activities.

• Prepared ShiftWise Production, Available stocks, Shift hand over, and Equipment maintenance reports.

• Supervised during Commissioning of 26000Nm³/h Atlas Copco Compressor.

• Analyze the products purities to verify conformance to quality standards/policy.

• Delivered Safety Talks with staff & employees and supporting PTW issuance & renewal requirements to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Follow up procurement team to deliver the required materials within scheduled time.

I learnt about the operation and maintenance of Diesel Shed & Washing lines of Pakistan Railways Karachi Cant.
During my one month internship I went through the following sections of both sheds.
Scheduling, Mechanical Erecting, Rebuilding, Power Assembly, lift & under truck, Traction motor/Generator, Zyglo, Pump test, Nozzle, Running shed, fueling & Store.
