Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) World Bank Funded Project.The project at hand has been meticulously designed in accordance with the most effective and efficient global practices for enhancing the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) sector in rural areas. Its primary objective is to transform rural villages into cleaner, more hygienic, and better-equipped living spaces, with improved standards of living and civic amenities. This overarching aim of the PRSWSSP (Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project) is achieved by targeting key areas such as sanitation, provision of potable water, solid waste management, and fostering behavioral change and capacity-building initiatives. The ultimate aim of these efforts is to ensure the long-term sustainability of this project in rural communities throughout Punjab.Major Tasks PerformedBriefed the project to various government departments in Rajanpur to promote information dissemination and effective coordination among relevant stakeholders.Initiated the nomination of Focal Person from relevant Govt. departments to facilitate coordination and data sharing with the PRMSC Tehsil Office in Rajanpur.Supervised an extensive reconnaissance survey carried out by the Consultants.To achieve the goals of the PRSWSSP, have gathered the detailed and accurate information about the existing infrastructure in Revenue Villages from a variety of sources, such as the Public Health Engineering Department, District Council, and Municipal Committee.Provided the detailed feedback to improve the quality and accuracy of the feasibility reports.
