This overarching aim of the PRSWSSP (Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project) is achieved by targeting key areas such as sanitation, provision of potable water, solid waste management, and fostering behavioral change and capacity-building initiatives. The ultimate aim of these efforts is to ensure the long-term sustainability of this project in rural communities throughout Punjab.Major Tasks PerformedBriefed the project to various government departments in Rajanpur to promote information dissemination and effective coordination among relevant stakeholders.Initiated the nomination of Focal Person from relevant Govt. departments to facilitate coordination and data sharing with the PRMSC Tehsil Office in Rajanpur.Supervised an extensive reconnaissance survey carried out by the Consultants.To achieve the goals of the PRSWSSP, have gathered the detailed and accurate information about the existing infrastructure in Revenue Villages from a variety of sources, such as the Public Health Engineering Department, District Council, and Municipal Committee.Provided the detailed feedback to improve the quality and accuracy of the feasibility reports. Reviewed the Detailed Engineering Design & Cost Estimates and provided the feedback for correction / improvement.Supervising the activities of Boreholes, Casting of Sewer pipes, Construction of Overhead Tanks, Anaerobic Baffled Reactors, Septic tanks and Filtration Plants.

Work jointly with IRC and Partners WASH teams for feasibility studies, technical assessment of water supply infrastructure, and sanitary surveys, to identify relevant water supply, sanitation, and filtration options.2. Monitoring progress of WASH infrastructure during implementation phase of the project.3. Provide technical support to implementing partners in verification of WASH Inclusive infrastructures i.e. drawings, design and BOQs through field visit as per National/international codes/standards such as ACI, ASTM, ACP, CBM etc. for improved quality and inclusiveness.4. Field Engineer will ensure that all construction sites meet legal/standardized guidelines, health, and safety requirements, and keeping in view universal access guidelines.5.
