• Provide TA to the district health management team in development and biannually updating of district health and nutrition profile including data on hard-to-reach (HTR) areas/communities.
• Advocate with the Deputy Commissioner/DPCR and DHMT to notify a district level integrated health and nutrition services committee.
• Advocate with the Deputy Commissioner/DPCR and DHMT to develop and implement an integrated supervisory plan for EPI, MNCH, Nutrition and WASH activities.
• Monitor the routine immunization, MNCH, Nutrition and WASH activities at HF and outreach sites as per union council micro plans and share findings with the health facility staff and district team for corrective measures as per monitoring formats.
• Monitor and report stock out of vaccines, non-functional CCE, usage and appropriate charting of CCE temperature and any other finding pertaining to supply chain which need corrective measures as per monitoring formats.
• Facilitate the coordination between Polio and EPI staff in EPI-PEI synergy SOP’s to strengthen implementation.
• Coordinate and monitor monthly/quarterly meetings of District Communication Committees (DCC) for implementation and reporting of communication and social mobilization activities as per UC level micro plans.
• Monitor all trainings conducted at district level supported by UNICEF (MNCH, EPI, ACSM, Nutrition)
• Support district in documentation and follow up of the action points/recommendations from regular program reviews at district level for RI, MNCH Nutrition and WASH activities.
• Weekly and monthly reporting to DHO and Provincial Consultant by using standard reporting formats.
Based at Sukkur, daily visits to District (Jaccobabad, Ghotki, Kashmore, Kambar, LArkana & Shikarpur).
