Cooperation & develop business relations with foreign Associates.
Responsible for getting LCL, FCL, Air, DDU, DDP, Ex-Works as well as custom clearance prices/quotations regarding Import & Export shipments from overseas counterparts, shipping lines, air lines, clearing agents and other third parties/networks and analysis based on variety of quotations, finalize and secure business based on best competitive quotations.
Responsible for creating and building client relationships through information gathering and providing proper feedback to customers.
Follow up as well as tracking of local transportation of shipments and update to customers.
Follow up as well as tracking of both Air & Sea cargo till final deliveries and update to customers.
Place import orders of various types of goods on behalf of importers/consignee and make final deliveries at client’s Factory/premises.
Generate booking to raise customer invoices and to calculate revenue.
Monitor preparation of HBL, MBL, AWBL and other relevant doc’s regarding import & Export shipments.
Booking of shipments on respective Shipping lines, NVOCC and Air lines to meet the rates and transit time requirements of the valuable clients.
Preparation of Air & Sea Export/Import Job Sheets.
Preparation of Air & Sea Export/Import local and international debit/credit notes and issue to customers.
Communication with Vendors, Warehouses, Shipping lines, Air lines & Clearing Agents for smooth delivery of the Cargo and Documents.
Pre alert to shippers and foreign agents with regard to departure, routing and transit time.
Handling of custom clearance of both Air & Sea export/import cargo and monitor preparation of online Goods Declarations (GD’s).
Visits of Sialkot Dry port Trust as well as Sialkot International Airport (SIAL) for smooth custom clearance of the cargo(s).
