•Provides consultancy for procuring different types of local and imported equipment.
•Assist clients for the procurement of the required equipment
•Assist clients in the import of the equipment
• Adhere to all IESC/ABADE & USAID procurement procedures and policies
• Assist ABADE technical staff in creating, reviewing and finalizing equipment specifications (detailed on the Capital Investment Specification Forms (CISFs) for PPA partners.
• Obtain prices for equipment specified in CISFs
• Identify potential suppliers/vendors for required equipment regionally and internationally
• Create and disseminate Requests for Quotations, and collect bids
• Assist in technical evaluation of quotations received
• Undertake vetting and due diligence of selected vendors
• Serve as point of contact for queries/clarifications from vendors/suppliers
• Work with vendor and shipping company to ensure timely delivery of equipment
• Assist with customs clearance documentation and procedures
• Maintain electronic records/documentation and ensure status of procurement is continually updated on necessary systems
• Support inventory of procurement
• Maintaining two way communication with the vendors for the prompt feedback
• Bridging the communication between USAID/ABADE-IESC and the Vendors
• Arrange meetings of the end user(partner) with the vendors in Pakistan if necessary
• Inspection of vendors for the completion of the procurement process within the defined time period and update ABADE
• Any additional tasks assigned by the International Procurement Manager
• Coordinate the business development team in business processes
• Assist top management in the preparation of Business Plans and ensure they appropriately address growth objectives
• Assist in planning, organizing, leading, controlling and delivery of the Plans
• Handling and maintaining HR issues
• Handling and Maintaining confidential records
• Supervising the staff in following the processes and procedures
• Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings with the coordination of General Manager Business Development
