A result-oriented Mining Engineer with over 7 years of industry, academia and public sector experience. I have been involved in drilling, blasting and short range mine planning (cement), licensing, leasing for new mines, social engagement from public and private sector. During my PhD studies I have been involved as teaching assistant to computer aided mine design and independently taught geo-statistics and ore reserve analysis lab and was awarded with the best graduate teaching award.
Mine design and Mine planning skills with geo-statistics and ore reserve analysis expertise along with extensive research using statistical models for mining machinery and underground safety. Can help mining engineering department in fleet management, fleet optimization, production sequencing and improving reliability of mining machinery. I have taken multiple courses on public disclosures under SK-1300 and have helped Dr Awuah-Offei in course development for SK-1300.
I am currently acquiring six sigma yellow belt title to improve equipment, process improvement, managing projects, data evaluation, developing & optimizing the operations to achieve safe, consistently better quality, lean & profitable production processes. I have experience in discrete event simulation that in conjunction with six-sigma can help in process improvement.
My PhD Research focuses on prototype development and testing of different types of buckets for Load Haul Dump and Front End Loaders. I have developed a methodology to analyze new design using similitude and have tested different types of buckets currently available in the market.
