Directed the fiscal policy framework, overseeing budget development, allocation, and compliance. Presented three annual provincial budgets (2021-2024) that prioritized essential sectors including health, education, and infrastructure, and led initiatives for sustainable fiscal governance.

Authored the Gilgit Baltistan Public Procurement Act, 2022, establishing enhanced procurement practices for improved efficiency and accountability.

Objective 1
To support the Country Mission in liaising with the Government of Pakistan relevant departments to facilitate ACF’s MOU and approvals of NOCs at federal and provincial level:
Tasks & responsibilities
• Lead in coordinating with relevant government departments for correspondence with relevant authorities for fulfilment of legal and regulatory requirements for organizational operations
• Update and inform the CD, Senior Programme Development and Partnerships Coordinator and any specific committees formed regarding updates or amendments in legal and regulatory requirements
• Process, seek approval for, submit and follow up applications and addendum to the applications including MOUs and related documents
• Incorporate any change in current GOVT policies/procedures in the MOUs in consultation with SMT
• In the internal coordination meetings, highlight and discuss any deviations observed in the terms and conditions laid out in the approved MOUs

Women Action for Better Workplaces (WAction) was a 24-month project implemented by The Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Pakistan that successfully concluded in November 2018.
As Advocacy Consultant, I looked after the engagement, communication and coordination with Political Leadership, Civil Society and Line Departments for acknowledgments, endorsement and adoption of Policy/Administrative recommendations arises out of the project activities.

Major Achievements:
• Contributed in reaching members of the parliament and provincial assemblies across Pakistan on WAction’s recommendations to improve labor legislation;
• Facilitated in organizing the launch of the ‘Gender Audit of Labor Laws in Pakistan’
• Government oversight business (Resolutions and Calling attention Notices) been submitted to Sindh, Punjab and Baluchistan Assemblies, subsequent to advocacy on effective labor governance

Campaign on Missing Women Voters and Inclusion:
 I led a nationwide advocacy campaign through traditional and social media on the issue of millions of eligible women voters who were not on the roll.

 Another important component of the campaign was promotion of pro- democracy narrative, highlighting the values of inclusion, diversity and participation of all citizens on the basis of equality, as enshrined in the constitution of Pakistan.

Major Achievements:

 Steered FAFEN’s advocacy campaign as coordinator and conducted briefing to Parliamentary Parties across four provinces and center, including former President Asif Ali Zardari of PPP and its central Leadership on making efforts to minimize the gender deficit in voter’s registration in Pakistan;
 Successful advocacy with legislators, parliamentarians and political leaders resulted in unanimous adoption of resolutions in Sind and Balochistan Assembly to make appropriate measures to register the unregistered women in Pakistan. The same has been submitted in KP Assembly, as well as is debated upon in Senate and National Assembly; Political Parties and other relevant stakeholders started debate on the gender deficit issue in wake of GE-2018

Project Responsibilities:

• Maintain close liaison with ECP, NADRA officials for voter registration of marginalized groups

 Successfully conducted National Consultations on ‘ Women CNIC and Voters Registration in Four Provincial Headquarters i.e. ( Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi and Quetta)
 Successfully convened Legislative Support Groups (comprising MPAs from almost all Parliamentary Parties in Provincial Legislatures in Pakistan) meetings in Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar and Karachi on “Proposed amendments to Rules of Procedure’
 Building of successful liaison mechanism with Speakers Office Balochistan Assembly after fruitful meeting with Honorable Raheela Hameed Durrani (Speaker);
 Timely conducted 28 Advocacy meetings with MPAs of Provincial Legislatures (Punjab, Sindh KP and Balochistan) to form Legislative Support Groups (LSG) in respective Assemblies to promote FAFEN’s extensive recommendation in rules of procedure
 Successfully coordinated and facilitated a pro-democracy narrative Seminar “ Challenges to Democracy in Pakistan”

• To develop monthly thematic report on Manifesto Monitor for Parliament and Provincial Assemblies;
• Develop working relationship/liaison with members and staff of Standing Committees for briefings, events and activities;

 Successfully coordinated and convened “A Tribute to Women Parliamentarians” attended by 40 women Parliamentarians of National Assembly and Senate, Chaired by Mian Raza Rabbani (Chairman Senate of Pakistan);
 Developed a successful coordination and communication with four provincial legislatures of Pakistan (Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and KP) as authorized focal person from FAFEN.
