概要

Results-driven Policy, Advocacy, and Legislative Affairs Specialist with over 12 years of experience across public, development, and legislative sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, where I have held influential roles that include chairing critical legislative committees and overseeing regional fiscal policy as the former Minister of Finance. Known for a strategic approach to governance reforms, stakeholder engagement, and policy advisory, I have consistently driven initiatives that foster transparent governance, empower local communities, and enhance institutional accountability.

My work is underpinned by a commitment to inclusive democratic processes, sustainable socio-economic growth, and effective public service delivery. Throughout my career, I have advocated landmark legislative reforms, including the Gilgit Baltistan Public Procurement Act and the Revenue Authority Act, which have established new standards for fiscal transparency and accountability within the region. As a leading figure in the Assembly, I bring a comprehensive understanding of governance complexities, a robust network across government and civil society, and a track record of mobilizing cross-sectoral support to achieve impactful policy outcomes.

With a foundation in Political Science and Public Policy, my expertise extends to project management, fiscal oversight, and cross-functional team leadership. I am skilled in designing and implementing high-impact advocacy campaigns, having successfully led initiatives for gender-inclusive electoral reforms and workplace protections. A strategic communicator, I engage stakeholders through evidence-based dialogue, ensuring that policy solutions are not only theoretically sound but are also practical and aligned with community needs. My work has repeatedly proven instrumental in bridging the gap between policy objectives and on-the-ground realities, fostering an environment where governance is responsive, inclusive, and accountable.
