Under an agreement with Riz Consulting and Bill and Milenda Gates Foundation, APEX Consulting is responsible for third party post campaign monitoring of anti-polio campaigns throughout Pakistan. Working as National Security Manager for the security of Post Polio Campaign Monitoring Teams working all over Pakistan. Responsible for the following:- Formulation and Compliance of SOPs, their periodic review & updating.Ensuring security measures of field teams all over Pakistan. Respond to security related incidents faced by field staff working for Anti-Polio Post Campaign Monitoring Unit across Pakistan. Liaison and Coordination with Government Law enforcing agencies & Army for gaining access to restricted areas particularly in FATA and Baluchistan and obtaining Security clearances and escorts for Polio monitoring teams and ensure the safety & security of staff working for Anti-Polio Post Campaign Monitoring Unit across Pakistan. Monthly Security awareness, orientation and management. Security training to staff. Obtaining NOCs for Monitoring teams from the Government Agencies. Conducting investigations in security incidents and serious complaints.Maintaining a current state of province vise security situation and present an analysis to national manager. Ensuring compliance with all the security related laws, rules, regulations and directives of federal and provincial governments. Regular coordination and liaison with security focal points of other NGOs and agencies. Fire prevention including periodic review of system, alarms & sensors, adequate markings/maps for emergency exits, evacuation routes & fire extinguisher locations & Fire extinguisher training, Fire escape plans/evacuation drills. Security clearance and issue of security access ID passes to staff. Maintaining & updating Record of Emergency data(RED) of all the staff and also Security log. Headed the Crisis management cell.

1. Security
To act as the focal point on all security matters, appraisal of Security updates and threats on daily basis and redefining the Security needs with the changing threat environments.
Installation, up gradation & maintenance of Security Equipment such as, Access ID cards and software, Intrusion alarms systems, Closed circuit television cameras, Access control systems, Metal detectors & Communication Radios.
Conduct Accident Investigations including, Interviewing, Evidence collection, Documentation development, injured employee handling & follow-up.
• Safety Equipment Recommendations for First aid supplies, Personal protective equipment & Safety tools.
Coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies & Government Ministries
Organizing and conducting Security Training for the entire staff.
Workplace Safety Training including proper use of hand tools/equipment, new-hire safety orientations.
Organize &Supervise the employment of Police and Rangers escorts for the protection of own staff & expats in the field areas.
Overseeing Health, Safety & Environment matters and issue of HSE instructions..
