echnical/Administrative, Program Quality and Implementation:
Ensure quality and timely field level implementation of the Nutrition program against set objectives, targets, and work plans
Advise and assist IRC nutrition team in developing project specific strategies, tools, systems, and plans.
Develop activity workplans for the Nutrition programme and ensure proposed activities are developed in coordination with other sectors-internally and externally with other implementing partners.
Ensure that nutrition programs utilize international best practices, policies, and guidelines, in line with Ministry of Health and WHO/UNICEF
Oversee the collection and timely reporting of data and statistics for all nutrition programs in line with IRC Local guidelines and according to donor requirements.
Actively monitor programs/projects through field visits, surveys and/or exchange of information with partners to assess progress, identify bottlenecks and take timely decisions to resolve issues and/or refer to relevant officials for timely resolution.
With support from the line supervisor, and MEAL department and nutrition team, lead the development of routine monitoring tools for tracking project progress, as well as necessary IEC materials to strengthen MIYCN-E and SBCC activities advocacies in the community.
Program Development and Strategic Planning
Contribute to and support in carrying out the situation analysis for the nutrition sector to ensure timely and current data on maternal and child nutrition are available for the designing, development, and management of nutrition projects.
Identify opportunities for program and proposal development in line with the CRS’s and donor guidelines.
Work in coordination with Procurement and Admin units to track Nutrition programme procurements, delivery and distribution at the field level.
Participate in proposal writing and budget development processes for nutrition program
Lead technical assessments as a basis for nutrition program development when necessary to monitor evolving needs of the target communities and adjust the programmatic priorities as necessary.
Capacity Building and Supervision
Ensure the capacity building of IRC nutrition team and partner staff through on-the-job training, technical guidance and coaching sessions while ensuring staff performance evaluation plans are developed
Ensure appropriate support to the nutrition team by regular field visits and provide targeted technical feedback
Develop capacity building plans and strategies and identify relevant training opportunities for IRC and partner staff to advance knowledge and skills in nutrition.
Monitor staffing needs and assist the recruitment of local staff and support staff development through mentoring to enhance the capacity of project and partner staff
Develop a process for ensuring quality and safety of nutrition related activities and products
Coordination and Representation
Represent IRC at nutrition sector working group meetings and coordination forums UN, international and national NGOs for nutrition coordination as needed at Provincial level
Ensure good coordination with other IRC partners staff, nutrition field teams and provide frequent feedback and updates
Develop new and manage existing relationships with key stakeholders and potential collaborators for nutrition programs.
Good understanding of Nutrition sector reporting requirements, templates and timelines.
Review and highlight opportunities for Protection, safeguarding and Gender mainstreaming in the proposed Nutrition activities; And follow up to ensure, nutrition team integrate the protection principles during activity design and implementation.
Reporting:
Support the development of field-based reports to IRC, Nutrition sector and/or external donors, as necessary.
Develop reporting templates for supervisees to aid in tracking progress of programme activities and key indicators
Conduct any other programming responsibility delegated by the supervisor.
Conduct baseline surveys/assessments.

Job Description:
1. Monitoring:
On an ongoing basis ensure that project monitoring data is collected, stored and analyzed in a clear and professional manner. Working closely with the Data Management Officer DMO ensures that all data is verified and cleaned before analysis and archive.
Conduct different assessments surveys on IDEA implemented activities using agreed tools to ensure the data collection.
Frequent field visits to carry out process monitoring based on minimum standards and output level indicators.
M&E officer will develop process monitoring check list with support of line manager
M&E officer will identify grey areas of assigned task, and will develop action plan for the improvement.
M&E Officer will support in conduction of humanitarian Coordination meetings and will take minutes accordingly
2. Evaluation:
With the support of the MEAL Manager, MEAL Officer along with the DMO to ensure that data collection tools are appropriately designed to allow the proper collection and processing of information as per MEAL requirement; ensure that all database for all surveys are properly managed; ensure that appropriate data validation and cleaning procedures are implemented to verify the authenticity of information collected.
Produce narrative reports based on statistical analysis of surveys and relevant secondary data. Evaluation reports must be responsive to the indicators outlined in the project proposal as well as additional indicators agreed with the MEAL Manager and IDEA Head of Programmes.
3. Community Feedback & Grievance Mechanisms
Facilitate CRM Officer to manage complaint response mechanism at project locations which will allow communities to provide IDEA with feedback on project implementation; register and monitor complaints.
Ensure that the project beneficiaries are given orientation regarding IDEA CRM procedures supporting CRM Officer
Ensure accountability minimum standards according to HAP principles and Humanitarian code of conduct
4. Reporting:
Write weekly, Monthly and Quarterly activity reports and submit to the MEAL Manager including updates on monitoring results.
M&E Officer will share biweekly monitoring report to line manager
Report all information or difficulty related to IDEA’s activities or security aspects.
Attend regular in-house follow-up discussions/meetings with the project team.
Monthly progress tracking sheet and MEAL calendar
Maintain a positive image of IDEA at all times and in all circumstances.
5. Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the area of monitoring and evaluation:
Documents bottlenecks, problems and issues, and proposes effective solutions
Documents and analyses innovative strategies and new approaches
Identification and formulation of evaluation findings, lessons learned and recommendations to be integrated into broader management efforts, disseminated in learning events and channeled into decision-making processes;
Participation in the conduct of results-oriented monitoring and evaluation training efforts in the head Office.
6. Research & Coordination:
Provide inputs to assess project performance to identify success factors and incorporates best practices into project work
Ensures monitoring framework is updated monthly using consolidated information
Provision of the technical advice at the design stage of project interventions setting up a framework with defined indicators at the design stage to facilitate the evaluation at the later stages
Assist senior staff in work planning and door to door surveys at all levels.
Create awareness of project aim and objectives in the communities
Motivate community people through orientation sessions and project briefs.
Responsible for reporting and maintaining the record updated on daily basis.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for loading/unloading of commodities from warehouse to Regional Offices and distribution points. He will also be responsible for physical inventory and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
 To supervise the commodities/goods loading/unloading that includes relief supplies of any kind.
To maintain all official and original records of the commodities/goods for audit and reporting purposes.
 Maintain and improve systems, which are required for standard storage practices, and reporting on community/partners receipt, movement, usage and loss.
 To maintain appropriate tracking systems for commodities/goods including warehouse physical inventories
 To ensure security and safety requirements of the warehouse and commodities stored are in place.
 To be responsible for all the utilities bills of warehouse make payment arrangements for the labors
Labors and time arrangements as per the allocation plan provided by the Program staff
 To provide receipt and issuance report on daily base i.e. Good Received Note and Good Delivery Note
Manage fleet of vehicles and ensure vehicle movement plans for field and TDY staff.
Check vehicles fitness and initiate timely and necessary repair and maintenance of vehicles
 To perform certain duties designated by the Management if and when need arises.

Key Working Relationships:
Internal:Admin and HR Manager, Warehouse and Logistics officer , Senior Procurement Officer Islamabad Office & Program Manager Sindh Sub Office.
Map and identify the healthcare facilities for implementation of project activities including rehabilitation, provision of Supplies, establishment of OTP and medical services at district level
Assess the needs and gaps of medical supplies and equipment at the health facilities
Liaison with DHO office and hospital admin to identify gaps in medical supplies.
Supervise the planning and operationalization of OTP/CMAM activities and OPD/medical services at designated healthcare facilities in liaison with SPM and local authorities
Work closely with DoH Health staffs for listing of medicine and equipment and space for the OTP and OPD services and appropriate referrals take place to and from the CMAM outreach and well integrated into the Primary Health Care and CMAMI approach
Ensure quality of services, (basic health services, ANC.PNC, screening and treatment of SAM without complication, referrals, first aid) that are being provided at the camps by routine and regular monitoring.
On job trainings of Nutrition assistants and relevant outreach staff in screening, assessment, admission, management, discharge from OTP and transfer to and from the community or other source, as per predefined guidelines.
Conduct routine monitoring visits to the HCFs within the district and ensure smooth functioning
Ensure that the SAM patient receives appropriate treatment, enrollment and referral based OTP admission criteria.
Ensure adequate availability of all medical and Therapeutic food supplies and ensure stock is pre-positioned as planned by discussing with Medical Officers, Nutrition Assistants and logistics
Follow-up and provide feedback to the MOs, LHVs, nutrition supervisor /officer on the amount and quality of the medical supplies if it does not comply with specified quality standards
Regular and strong coordination with PHC/CMAMI, NSC and Outreach staff on referral and integrated case management package.
