Following tasks were assigned to me in the three months of training as a Management Trainee Officer - Air Freight Department:
- Drafting documents such as; Airway Bills (Master & House) / Cargo Manifest for Exports,
- Drafting documents such as; Delivery Order & De-consolidation Manifest for Imports,
- Correspondence with clients, foreign agents, vendors and colleagues in order to run effective operations,
- Maintaining documentation of both Imports and Exports (Filing, Receiving & Assorting),
- Operating Climax Import and Export Software for the purpose of Data Feeding, Generating client Invoices and Foreign Agents Debit/Credit Notes,
- Maintaining Ledger and Profit & loss Statements for Imports manually in Microsoft Excel,
- Other tasks include (Tracking shipments / Make Bookings / Maintaining number of Queries for daily Import & Export inquiries received from all stations / checking Entries - IGM of Imports shipments online
