• Responsible for the data management of all Basic Health Units (BHUs) and project activities in both hard and soft forms
• Develop project databases, applications and tools (questionnaire, Survey forms etc.) to collect primary data
• Update and amend existing as well as newly developed project databases on regular basis
• Monitor database efficiency in line with the project agreed indicators/results
• Ensure the security and integrity of all data through regular quality checks
• Develop periodical system backups for data safety
• Liaise closely with the project teams for regular data collection and subsequent entry
• Undertake field trips to monitor HMIS related activities at BHUs and mobile teams by cross checking the data collection, compilation, entry and storage in the system
• Verify the authenticity and accuracy of the data reported
• Ensure quality data collection and timely data entry of the collected data from all BHUs with the support of field team
• Develop and maintain patient record system or medical information system as per donor mandate and ICMC guidelines
• Regular data entry, data cleaning, data analysis and subsequent reports generation
• Provide statistical analysis of data for weekly/monthly report generation to the management as per requirement
• Monitor compliance with standards of beneficiaries’ confidentiality and data collection, entry, and retrieval
• Prepare data quality procedures for reviews
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
• Collection and compilation in a timely manner of data for data entry from health centers regarding family planning and PAC services to be entered into database
• Analyze collected data and convert it into value added information according to project indicators
• Update and validate FP PACE data on COMET and report data entry issues.
• Upload verified data through DHIS2 data capture mobile app.
• Review and refine data collection and verification processes and procedures to ensure that all desirable elements of data are captured by the system
• Review and analyze data to graphically present utilization trends based on monitoring indicators
• Review and Analyze FP items consumption, stock in hand and prepare for the next supplies order based on the needs.
• Perform other relevant tasks as required in support of processes for strengthening data analysis
• Produce reports for specific needs aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of the decision making protocols
• Provide support to report writing on data
• Work in coordination with other two components namely health services and community mobilization
• Physically verify the project commodities at the time of delivery at warehouse and distribution at health facilities keep their tack and report any discrepancy
• Planning and arrangement for resources required for distribution of project commodities
• Ensure proper documentation of the projects commodities as per IRC standards
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain project databases in SPSS and EpiData
• Run initial statistical analyses of quantitative research projects using SPSS
• Analysis of qualitative research projects using Atlas.Ti
• Advance analysis for different injuries from global burden data (GBD) using MS excel
• Assist in manuscript preparation and submission for research publication
• Search online bibliographic resources and retrieve references using EndNote libraries
• Review medical record files for research or audits
• Processing of blood samples, liquating & archiving of samples and data logging & analysis in research lab in accordance with standard operating procedure in the supervision of lab assistants.
• Supervise in data collection and data entry for research projects
• Online data entry and data cleaning in ePAROS and RedCap servers
• Conduct telephonic interviews for research projects
• Transcribe, translate and code in-depth interviews and focus group discussions
• Translate and design consent forms and study questioners of research projects in Urdu using InPage and MS Word
• Maintain weekly and fortnightly progress reports as and when required
