- Overall responsibility for assisting in the implementation of the HS&E Project
- Execution Plan for the work site. The incumbent will work closely with the Construction Management Team on implementation of Project to enhance the management of personnel health and safety, (employees, contractors and the public) that is critical to continuous improvement in HS&E performance.
- Liaise with the site HSE contractor personnel on core team resource requirements (people, major equipment, etc) for follow up and implementation at senior management level.
- Verify that all project personnel are fully conversant with the specific HS&E Project Execution Plan for Construction and Commissioning, including related HS&E instructions, environmental and Sustainable Development commitments.
- Continuously monitors the work environment, especially for work performed under specific Permit to Work requirements.
- Communicates appropriate HS&E related information on an accurate and timely basis to the work force.
- Support or leads hazard identification exercises.
- Participates in regular HS&E meetings with the Contractors and related interested parties with the view to discussing HS&E concerns and actions common to all.
- Assist supervision and management in conducting incident investigations.
- Encourage overall hazard identification and reporting as well as immediate reporting of all incidents and Near Miss incidents by all site personnel.

-Collaborate with environmental scientists, planners, hazardous waste technicians, engineers, experts in law or business, or other specialists to address environmental problems.
-Coordinate or manage environmental protection programs or projects, assigning or evaluating work.
-Develop proposed project objectives and targets and report to management on progress in attaining them.
-Inform company employees or other interested parties of environmental issues.
-Obtain, update, or maintain plans, permits, or standard operating procedures.
-Prepare, review, or update environmental investigation or recommendation reports.
-Provide assistance with planning, quality assurance, safety inspection protocols, or sampling as part of a team conducting multimedia inspections at complex facilities.
-Serve as liaison with federal, state, or local agencies or officials on issues pertaining to solid or hazardous waste program requirements.
-Assess the existing or potential environmental impact of land use projects on air, water, or land.
-Develop or present environmental compliance training or orientation sessions.
-Develop site-specific health and safety protocols, such as spill contingency plans or methods for loading or transporting waste.
-Direct installation or operation of environmental monitoring devices or supervise related data collection programs.
-Provide administrative support for projects by collecting data, providing project documentation, training staff, or performing other general administrative duties.
-Write reports or articles for Web sites or newsletters related to environmental engineering issues.
-Advise corporations or government agencies of procedures to follow in cleaning up contaminated sites to protect people and the environment.
-Assist in budget implementation, forecasts, or administration.
-Design or supervise the design of systems, processes, or equipment for control, management, or remediation of water, air, or soil quality.

-Assist departments in execution of various jobs related to HSE System.
-Preparation of various documents / records related to Safety systems like Procedures, Formats, Work instructions etc.
-Identify Hazards, Risk Assessment & Risk Evaluation
-Conduct incident investigation & carry out root cause analysis and recommend proposed corrective / preventive actions.
-Make arrangements for Emergency Response Preparedness (ERP) and conduct mock drills for emergency
-Make comprehensive environment support Program
-Ensure safe and efficient firefighting system and check its effectiveness as per plan.
-Organize / conduct training sessions at all level.
-Distribution of hard copy documents to concerned departments and maintain hard and soft copy records of Integrated Management systems.
-Display safety signs and make walkways
-Assist Manager Compliance in implementation of HSE.
-Prepare daily monitoring report and inform senior about any abnormality and emergency or gap.
-Perform all other tasks as assign by top management.
