As an experienced and qualified professional with more than 10 years of experience in social development sector, managing MEAL of emergency and development projects including CBDRM, WASH, Food Security Livelihoods, Shelter, Value Chain Development, Women Empowerment, TVET, and non-formal Education projects, I have aligned my skills with quality research, project evaluations and quality assurance in project implementation through accountability and transparency using various tools and methodologies.
I am result-oriented and focus on continuous improvement through capitalization of learning. My sound background in impact assessments, project end line , and development of analytical reports enables me to develop and strengthen MEAL systems within an organization. Additionally, I am experienced in need assessments, project planning, development of result frameworks, budgeting for MEAL, project cycle management, monitoring evaluation, capacity building, and team management.
I have managed large teams more than 50 staff, coached and counselled subordinates when required, and have multicultural experience of working in Kenya and the UK. and I have worked as a Regional Senior MEAL officer in central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan) with ACTED. My personality is flexible to work under pressure with little supervision, tolerance, adaptive behaviour, and willingness to travel to remote areas.
Currently, I am working as MEAL manager in Islamabad with ACTED(Country MEAL HEAD).
As MEAL Manager working closely with HQ in France, project development, program implemetnation teams and partner staff to develop high-quality monitoring systems and tools that address the needs of the organization and its stakeholders.
Responsible for ensuring that these systems are implemented effectively and efficiently. This includes ensuring that data is collected, analyzed, and reported accurately and in a timely manner, as well as providing technical support to program teams on all aspects of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning.
Responsible for leading and managing the MEAL team, including setting performance objectives, providing guidance and support to team members, and ensuring that the team is adequately resourced and trained to carry out their roles effectively.
Developing and managing project-level M&E plans, ensuring alignment with program objectives and donor requirements, and supporting project teams in developing and implementing robust theories of change, logframes, and indicator frameworks.
Work closely with the internal communications and knowledge management teams, ensuring that project teams have access to and use requisite technical evidence and knowledge.

• Assisting the AME Unit in the development and implementation of Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation strategies by developing and following work plans and indicators.
• Design appropriate information collection tools and methodologies including the assessment ToRs, questionnaires etc, and assist where necessary by translating these tools and methodologies.
• Work closely with AMEU Manager, Project Management, and Area Coordination for the effective management of AMEU monitor team field work.
• Responsible to draft initial reports on the field collected data by the AME monitors or secondary sources, under the supervision and guidance of AME manager.
• Responsible for timely sharing initial findings of the monitoring reports with program and area coordination with the authorization of AME manager.
