Department of Maintenance (I&C)  
• Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of following field instruments and control systems: 
Instrumentation :  
          o   Pressure, level, & flow transmitters & switches
          o   Temperature elements o Heat and smoke detectors
          o   Pressure & temperature gauges
          o   Gas & flame detectors
          o   Proximity sensors
          o   Control valves 
          o   Analyzers
          o   SOVs & LVDTs 
Control Systems : 
          o   DCS: Emerson Ovation 3.6.1, for boiler (HRSG), steam turbine and BOP o Mark-VI control system for gas turbine o Triconex control system for emergency shutdown
          o   Emergency Trip system for steam turbine
          o   Bentley Nevada vibration monitoring system o Fire detection and mitigation systems (deluge systems, CO2 systems, & inergen systems)
          o   Plant PLCs 
• To ensure adherence of safety guidelines of following systems among I&C team:
          o   PSM: Dupont Process Safety Management 
          o   OHIH: Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene 
          o   PTW: Permit to Work System
• Planning & execution of daily job activities safely
• Coordination with operations, electrical, mechanical & procurement departments
• To ensure surveillance of instruments and control systems
• Incident investigation and report writing
• To prepare SOPs for new systems
• To finalize specifications for procurement of spares 
• To conduct weekly safety refreshers
• To ensure timely closure of PM/CM to maintain KPIs 
Department of Operations :
 • Training on process of (BOP, Steam turbine & Gas Turbine, HRSG, Water treatment Plants, etc.) 
• Operation of plant/equipment as per guidelines
• To ensure adherence of SOPs and safety guidelines
• To perform root cause analysis of incidents and to ensure their prevention 
Projects: 
• Design and Implementation of Low-Cost Emergency Communication System for employees’ residential area
• Implementation of Cyber Security between OPC Server at EPQL and OPC client at Engro Digital 
• 3D Printed Pneumatic Valve Position Indicator and saved PKR 50000
• Prepared SOP for Ovation Historian
• Worked on Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP)
