I'm an experienced and equally qualified Project Management Professional with sound expertise in project management, program monitoring, project evaluation, accountability, learning, and research. I have a masters degree in economics and over a decade of experience in designing, managing, and strengthening MEAL systems for over 15 projects and programs, along with leading seven programs and three projects across Pakistan. These interventions include multi-million and equally complex projects and programs funded by DFID, BMZ, RNE, Global Affairs Canada, FCDO, USAID, UN agencies, GOP, GOS, and other international donors regarding healthcare, education, nutrition, WASH, shelter, livelihood, protection, disability inclusion, DRR/DRM, gender, youth development, nationwide poverty targeting, and educational surveys in the humanitarian assistance, post-conflict, and development context across Pakistan.
Besides this, I have theoretical knowledge and practical experience regarding the result-based management (RBM) system, including qualitative and quantitative methodologies and tools to ensure effectiveness through internal learning and external accountability. Furthermore, I have had the great privilege of mentoring over 200 ME staff. For the past six years, I have also worked in a supervisory capacity, hiring and supervising ME and program staff across Pakistan. Moreover, I have been directly involved in tracking the progress, process, and quality of multi-input and multi-stakeholder interventions through performance monitoring, periodic evaluation, data validation, and technical facilitation to ensure evidence-based programing.
Moreover, I have a theoretical understanding and practical experience of applying the International Humanitarian Laws, SPHERE, and HAP standards for designing and implementing humanitarian assistance and development interventions. Furthermore, I have been executing different assessments and multiple surveys (online and offline), arranging critical reflection sessions and progress review meetings, representing organizations on external forums, and coordinating with partners and donors to achieve developmental goals.
Also, I have been providing leadership and direct supervision to the ME team and technical advice and support to senior management about project cycle management, including proposal writing, resource mobilization, information management, feedback and complaint management, capacity building, external coordination with stakeholders, and periodical reporting for adaptive management and reflective programming.
Leading MER department at the country level for implementation of the its programs through its implementing partners, who work with community health workers and private providers to improve maternal and newborn health across Pakistan.
Led the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) funded project on inclusive eye healthcare in collaboration with CBM - Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V, College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences (COAVS), King Edward Medical University Lahore and concern Government authorities in targeted areas of Pakistan.
