概要

I have worked in Pakistan for over a decade at the intersection of social development policy, research and advocacy. I established and managed the civil society portfolio at Alif Ailaan (Transforming Education in Pakistan), a DFID-funded £20 million campaign for education reform, administering grants to NGOs across Pakistan and directly managing a networks of grassroots activists. Before working for the DFID-funded project, I was spearheading a campaign that targeted vulnerable youth with counter-narrative based on democratic culture, peace and pluralism. I write opinion pieces and commentary on development, politics and governance in leading English newspapers of Pakistan, The News, Daily Times and The Nation. My views have also appeared on the London School of Economics Religion and Global Society blog. Lately, I was on an academic sabbatical, completing my Masters in Anthropology and Development from the London School of Economic and Political Science.
