MY CURRENT JOB DOES NOT DEFINE ME. I choose this position to get an entry in UN system. I knew this is not a position that matches my professional qualification and my past experience, but I was confident of my professional stature so dared to take the risk.

I am a Chartered Certified Accountant, having membership of ACCA UK since 2015. I am also an affiliate member of The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
At UNDP, apart from my other duties, I mainly manage their Projects and Agencies cost recovery program. I have added value and by radically improving the billing, reporting and recovery processes.
Previously I have been working as Chief Accountant in A.J Textile Mills, where I was handling independently few of the most critical and complex finance responsibilities. Reporting directly to GM Finance and CEO as well as working closely with group CFO.
In my professional journey of 10 years, I have proven strong analytical and quantitative abilities. With my penchant for producing tangible results and my enthusiasm for tackling tough issues, I am confident that I can make a significant difference.
